Tranquility

This most unique tree fungus took approximately one year to dry due to the thickness of three fungus surfaces attaching together. It took another approximately six months to determine what design was going to work. I wanted to tie the three pieces together which is what I accomplished in this Tranquility Nature Scene.
Poppa deer sits quietly while junior feeds on the small area of grass they have traveled upon. Momma wanders through the water to refresh herself after the long trek in the dry woods. An eagle cries out for it's mate as it gracefully lands on one of the snags in the distance. No human population, tranquility in nature.
This piece is available at Reflecting Spirit Gallery in Ucluelet, BC Canada.
