Pond Edge
A very small red legged frog lingers silently just below the surface waiting for a morsel of food to float, swim or fly by. The dragonfly does a fly by to see if any of those morsels could provide dinner for him as well. The two so different yet similar in the needs that a pond provides. When you get the opportunity, study the small detailed life that lingers about the edge of a pond both in and out, careful not to disturb the natural balance of life. Nature is fascinating especially the tiniest of the creatures that make ponds sustainable.
