Graceful Landing
The West Coast of Vancouver Island can boost many sightings of Eagles, with many opportunities for photographers to capture that beauty.
I am fortunate to have a very large snag in our back yard which often is used for a perch for neighbourhood eagles.
I personally think watching an eagle land is absolute grace in motion.
Capturing one of those moments with this piece has been very rewarding.
This piece has been gifted to one of my biggest supporters of my art work. He has purchased numerous pieces from my collection and as a token of Gratitude I gifted this piece to him. In his culture it is believed that once your human form has passed you come back in as a member of nature. His brother has become an eagle.
